Thar Peak North Couloir // Ski Touring on the Coquihalla

2 жыл бұрынThe Thar Peak North Couloir is an awesome and accessible objective on the Coquihalla Highway. We hit the skin track at 4:30am in order to make it back in time for afternoon classes. Yes, I was incredibly tired afterwards, but it was definitely worth it.

Cool to see a line that doesn't get a ton of "publicity" shown here. Anything else around the Coquihalla that you're interested in skiing? Looks like some pretty interesting Couloirs in the region.

Were you able to sling a horn to build your anchor for the rappel? Or how did you build your anchor? Thanks!

We found a solid anchor that was already there and saw about two or three others
