My 2 brothers were my only chambelanes and I only danced one song with my oldest brother and dad. My other brother walked me out cause he didn't wanna dance and we were okay with that since the beginning.

My daughter’s quinsiañera was the most imperfect perfect day. The mass started 2 hrs late. The priest had an emergency. The bar tender never made it. The dj never made it. But the Banda and the delicious food made everything better. My kid had the best time of her life.

As a momma I could feel her momma’s emotions when she started crying. It’s not about the picture slideshow itself but the fact that she got super excited to surprise her baby girl and I just know she was so so SOOOOO excited to see the smile on Aileen face after seeing it. 😢

Honestly, looking back on it my quince was definitely not perfect but it was still great. I think no matter what theres always going to be drama or SOME issue, teenagers. my quince was almost 5 years ago now and looking back on it, i don’t know what i was soo worried for that day LOL So stressful for what, few hours, just have fun.

This brings me back to the stress my single mom had planning my twin sisters and I Quinceanera. We asked for a simple bbq but my mom insisted we have to do a quinceanera and she said we must do the same for our future daughters because it's not about a party but the meaning behind it. I'm 31 now this was about 16 years ago

I’m 22 and I regret planning my Quince and not going through with it almost every day. The reason? I didn’t have enough friends or family to attend so felt bad that my mother was spending money for barely any people. Bless your Mom for that beautiful memory you get to have forever ❤

For the dress issue depending on the dress. There are ways to add length with out actually changing the style or shape.

It is strange that they didn't show the dress. Hard to believe that this issue was not known until the day of the party. I think that the dress may or may not have been a little short and they made it a bigger issue for show content. The same goes with the late people surely your friends would be excited about your day and would not be so late.

Biggest XV fail: having my cousin's dog come into the party hall (his family lived across the street) and pee on another of my uncle's in the middle of the party. There were a lot more fails that night but I still had a great time.

The friends are weird. My ex husband's family had plenty of quinceanera's I've been to quite a few. I never saw people act like this. Even the boys! They are usually so proud of their friend, cousin, sister, on her day. I've always seen the boys be so sweet, like a big brother or uncle type of energy.

I didn’t have a sweet sixteen just because my family is split up and live far away. Also my family practically hate each other and the only thing they do is drink at parties. Plus my mom would just stress me out because she’s a control freak 😂

welp i got into a car accident on my quince, but still partied an hr later I didn't want to miss out a party, my friend was in the car too she still partied with me, my cake was pink and white it was supposed to be blue and gold, and photographer (family member) never gave us my pic I'm 18 now its been 3 years I want my pics and vids lmao.

These videos make me so happy I never had mine. We weren’t able to for $$ reasons but like even then I’m pretty sure the bs “friends” I had back then would of totally made it such a shit day. You can’t count on young kids to take things serious. I was a dama for a friend in hs and I was always so pissed when the guys wouldn’t practice the dance seriously and the day of they almost dropped her! Ughhhh just remembering makes my blood boil she could of got so hurt ☹️😩

I love how the kid whose party it is doesn't care for once. It's rarely seen on these or super sweet 16. Mom's the one upset it's not perfect.

Lol I had a half day session that I didn't want to attend and my brother got mad and threw a tantrum in front of all my neighbours because he had an argument with my cousin on my 15yh birthday. It was already 4pm by then, we went and bought a plushie. I had school the next day.

Regarding the dresses my mom for mine made us all my damas, and the flower girls they all had to try the dresses on days in advance to make sure they all fit and so no changes were left for the last minute
