I’m from Quebec and I still remember the first time I saw him on tv. It was around the year 2010 and he did a performance for his song Alors on danse. I was shook by his presence on the stage. I am happy to hear from him after his silence for many years, I heard he struggled with his mental health a lot. Let’s just say this guy is a genius. Thank you for giving a chance to french songs. A lot of Americans don’t want to hear these because it’s not in English. 😊

It's a really great song! Just as he mentioned, is a topic nobody wants to talk about, but is the reality of many! First POV is from the client. Second POV is from a pimp, saying "at least he feeds them and puts a roof over their heads! Why does everyone hate me?" He's insulting them saying "they're hookers who shouldn't aspire to be models!" and Third POV is from the police, saying he's gotta do a job right? He's like "please find a 'real' job, miss!" Finally, the chorus is always the son's POV saying leave my mom alone, she's a hero for everything she's been through. People dehumanize her but I'm a SoaB but I'm proud of her!
