Nope. With proper armour it won't hit you any harder than the recoil from shooting it hits the sniper. Physics 101.
@rodzilla1347 ай бұрын
@@ernestchadwell9069 10s of thousands of wounded soldiers and cops who were wearing "proper" body armor and ended up with broken ribs, sternums, broken clavicle, etc, indicate that your misunderstanding of Physics 101 does not work like you think it does. Recoil force is mitigated by weapon weight, recoil springs, slide or bolt movement, buffer springs, distribution of force, and the shooters ability to be displaced by the weapon. The .50 bullet's force is concentrated into a tipped projectile that is no larger than .5 inches. I guess you should explain your physics to the water bottles that were blown open by the force of the armor deforming. In your freshman physics course, did they explain that "proper" body armor is designed to deform in order to slow and catch the projectile? Where do you thing that deformity goes, when the body armor is worn against said body? I LOVE when people who have never been shot try to explain to us, what its like to get shot.

when he says"i don't even know where the sights are" he means that he hasn't zeroed the rifle as he said before the .408 cheytac ammunition is hard to come by and very expensive. theres nothing baffling about that.

@@MattyEngland I was a range coach in the USMC (and also shot rifle and pistol, competitively), where I taught marksmanship and coached shooters for my battalion. I also own several scoped rifles, with magnifications up to 24X; I can shoot that rifle closer than 25 yards, by turning down the mag (almost all modern scopes (that I know of) are variable mag) and adjusting the parallax.
