the groove for led strip diameter is 12mm, you can use the 10-11mm dia. LED strip，it is very easy to find in the market

Where can I get the black channel they mount the Z Brackets for the arms too ??

The black channel is not a necessary part for awning installation. You can fixed the Z brackets on your RV directly, the fix the arm on Z bracket. If you insist on the black channel, Please contact to admin@awnlux.com, our customer service will help you

Had same issue…ended up drilling into coach and installing washers/nuts on inside wall to be safe. Took some engineering to keep them (mostly) hidden, but that awning ain’t comin’ off anytime soon!

I came here to ask the same question. My rv is metal sided. I do not have a smooth surface to mount the z bracket to.
