VAN CAMPING GONE WRONG.. I had the scary fright of my life while van camping in the woods! This wasn't what I expected at 4am while stealth camping but thankfully it wasn't what I thought it was.. Wild really really works! It’s expensive though and doesn’t last long as in you would need to buy 2 refills in a month and they are currently around a fiver each but there is no pong with it at all and the flavours are lovely! Plus the benefits of no aluminium 👍🏽

You need to visit Tintern Abbey in the Wye Valley, it's a really cool place, you can park overnight for a fiver , eat in the Anchor Inn and redeem your parking ticket towards your meal or entrance into the Abbey itself, then cross over the footbridge and walk to the Devils pulpit or find the 1KM Greenway Tidenham tunnel to walk through it! , check online to see if its open. From a fellow vanlifer here in South Devon, a good place to visit too🙃

Great video, that’s my neck of the woods today. We often walk at bury ditches, Croft & Berrington. It was lovely to see inside as we don’t go in, having the dog. I’ll never look at the food centre in the same way again! Safe travels x

Fair play for cracking on with the trip.. Cannot wait to see where you go next, Series one of monumental took me to the wye valley and it`s infamous wooded park up`s - I am pretty Immune to the park up signs, I have the opinion - They can`t actually ask you to move, it`s a cival matter, As long as you are polite and well informed you can park where you want..I think your getting better at ignoring the signs now. Great trip so far and I hope we see matti back soon :)

Me and a mate went for a steak in Spain earlier this year and he not impressed when I asked for mine well done. 😀.Great video again mate. Shame Matti didnt stop. He needs a van, that car can't be comfy. Hope hes doing ok. Take care both.

I used Mitchum on my boat trips. It’s has lots of fragrances now, like a talcum powder smell… it works very well, solid not spray.

One of the things I hear so much about is being woken up in the night by persons unknown. Did you know that you can buy a security alarm that sounds off as a large dog barking. It's activated, I assume, by a PIR sensor and gives the impression that there is a very nasty dog living inside the van with its owner. No self respecting bad guy is going to hang around for long in those circumstances!!

Poor old Matty does seem to be plagued with poor health, he seems to have abandoned a few camps recently. Maybe it was worry about stopping overnight in a no overnight location that stopped him sleeping. Anxiety and overthinking things can be a real problem too and take many forms

I find it bizarre that people try to force bloody steak on those that don't want it. I've always ate well done steak from my local steak house and it's always succulent and tender. Must be doing something wrong if well done comes out as boot leather. I did try a medium once, I didn't enjoy it and I had a dodgy stomach for 2 days, felt really sick and it ruined my meal and weekend. Not everyone can stomach eating blood.

You've got to come back across the border into Wales to do and overnighter since we've had the 20mph come in. Drive around the villages and towns to see how nobody has a clue what speed to do. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

Oh yeh.. that's ridiculous that is. Can't believe they introduced that rule.. all they had to do really was tighten up the enforcement around 30mph as most accidents in 30mph zones are from people speeding. Going to be hard to drive anywhere in Wales now

@@BrendanExplores You've got to do a day out driving in Wales. Love to see your comments when your satnav says 30mph, the road sign says 20mph but there is still a huge 30mph painted on the road. Then again depends which side of the road your on, one side might b 20mph but the other side is still at 30mph.

Brendan, thank you. My daughter has been diagnosed with depression and anxiety for about 5 years now following being bullied at school. She then suffered with bulimia because of this and then after she beat the eating disorder (thanks to counselling) she did her degree and masters degree while still suffering with her MH. He partner then passed away by his own hand which made her spiral again and shes still not had any help regarding her mental health. Im going to try these guys and hopefully they can help her. Thank you for your videos. They add a bit of light where otherwise it would be dark. BTW, badminton is nothing like tennis, the winner is the first person to reach 21 but must win byv2 points otherwise you keep playing until someone wins. If you get to 29 points each then its the first person to reach 30 regardless of the 2 point gap A point is scored on each serve and the winner of tha point serves next. Stay safe

Really sorry to hear about your daughter's situation ❤️. Bullying can be horrible and set you off on a dark path in life. It's only been in the last 5-6 years that I've started to grow in confidence since being bullied myself. I hope BetterHelp works for her and can provide her with some support 🙏. Thanks for the I fo regarding Badminton as well 🙂 might start playing it a bit more 👍

Luckily I worked in the mental health field so have a decent understanding of how to help her but she still needs counselling which hopefully she'll get eventually. Give badminton a go. It's great fun, especially if you join a club. I started at school, joined a club and then played for my county. Unfortunately I'm too old and knackered now lol

haha 🤣 this was a right laugh on about the deodrants and stuff! I always used lynx as a teen but have used sure since and it's nice when you first put it on and for a few hours but it defintely doesn't last the time it states it will if you're at work or doing something to get sweaty does it 😅 I'm also glad you converted matti in his steak choices too! Shame he had to go home but I look forward to your next part to this trip as always!

Mitchum is really good. But it’s expensive. You can get a pink one. I’m suffering with hot flushes - it’s my age! So a good deodorant is a must.

I was like Matti I always had well done until I went to Miller and Carter 2 years ago and the server recommended I had medium rare on my fillet steak and omg its like butter sliding down ya neck I will never go back to well done ever again.

Thats reminds me if a friend who asked fir a well dine steak in a pub. The guy in the next table asked for a well done steak a few minutes before we ordered. When his came it was a tiny bit pink inside. My very large irish friend demanded to see the chef. When the timid chef appeared my friend asked if he thought the pink steak was well done. .the chef said "Yes sir" My friend replied with a loud deep "When you cook mine. When you think you have cooked it...... Cook the fecker again" When it finally arrived, it was like a meat biscuit. P.s. Hope Matty is doing ok. He is a lovely bloke.

Croft and Berrington been to both a few times. Croft has some really ancient trees on one walk. Did you get NT permission to do drone shots or did you risk it? I know the NT don't normally allow. By the way Adnams is from Southwold in Suffolk, my neck of the woods. As for mental health I've been there, off work for months, councilling and meds, still on them. Great shout out there Brendan well done. Hope Matti is OK. Great video just love the laughs😂 Take care both of you.

If i were you, I would invest in a "cloak of invisibility" - a cheap 'black' fleece blanket or throw - to drape over your front seat cooler, or other valuables in the cab.

I use degree. I don't smell at all for 72 hours and poss8bly longer. Menopausal too so sweating is awful. Degree helps alot and they make it for men as well. I hear that new one the lady Dr made works really well. Lume is the name.

I just saw your video and thought I would tell you I worked in construction in southern Arizona temps well over 100 degrees and I used Degree deodorant as well as most of the guys I worked with. We say there's nothing better.

I had to laugh about your peaceful night after 2 I've recently had! I was overnighting at a lovely spot in my car camper, high above the Fraser River here in BC. At 1am, I was awoken by party animals!! Not the 2 legged kind though! There were at least 3 raccoons climbing all over my car roof and hood! The scampering a thumping going on!!! I finally used the key fob to unlock and lock the car doors, which triggered the lights to flash and horn to toot. Then they hurriedly scampered off the roof by sliding off the back! Too funny! Then, last night, I was awoken by some rodent chewing on something in my dash. Had to start the car to get rid of that one, as it wouldn't listen to my banging and yelling. LOL! Poor Mattie. Hope he can get a van or bigger car soon!

Matti was already anxious about this particular spot, if I set up camp, I think he would of gone home a lot sooner than he did lol. Hopefully his nerves can calm down for the next one he's on 👍🤞
