i was in the pit w my daughter and we both were shocked how incredible they are live. jaws dropped the entire set!!

I was in this crowd, in the pit, and the entire time was spent with my mouth open. My daughter and I kept looking at each other like," WTF is happening"? Blew my mind!! I was NOT expecting it to be so epic :)

I went to Weenie Roast specifically to see AWOLNATION... here's to hoping they perform again this year's WR.

Well, since Awolnation was started/founded by Aaron, all of Awolnation's songs are written by Aaron, Aaron is the lead singer and front-man of the band and finally Aaron appears to earn the Lion's share of the profits my guess would be that, in truth, Awolnation is really a one man project who has been wise enough to maintain control. A lot of bands end of fighting over artistic direction, which songs to record or perform, and of course money. Either Aaron was well aware of this at the beginning or he somehow was just lucky enough to avoid those problems. HE started Awolnation, he has led them since day one, and I suspect he alone decides who replaces band members. He probably listens to suggestions and advice, but I'd bet hard cash the final say is his. This is just my guess but your question was a good one and I couldn't help but look into it.

@@DrTTolentino You are absolutely right. I listened to a podcast with him (can't remember which one) where he explained that he had another band that broke up, how devastated he was because of that and how Awolnation was his project and baby that he wanted to keep control over and keep independent from major record labels influencing artistic choices.

^TRUTH, yes. I heard this song live in late 2015 over AWOL's "Run" Tour. And the room sang along to the whole of "Hollow Man"... but they SCREAMED that key fav line. "Mother F I'll be back from the dead soon!"
