Was a smart play. He sprayed where thompson had to be not where he was. Don't see a penalty but the way the refs have been this season the call could've went either way. The fact vegas didn't respond to it seems like they knew it was a smart play.

@@aservant2287 A) They won 5-2. The very definition of legit. B) After all the crap that teams and refs have gotten away with AGAINST the Wings over the years, if another team or their fan base don't like it, they can go puck themselves.

Awood is just the best, excellent editing. Even if I’ve seen the game it’s worth it to see Awood’s highlights. Capturing key moments, and the energy of the room with the Jared Goff chants. Unmatched editing, so much better than the “official” highlights

I do not want to hear any excuse from VGK about how they played last night in NYC and lost the game. Go back to January 14th, when the Wings arrived 90 minutes before game time after having spent the night at Detroit City Airport stranded and on the road end of a back-to-back and beat TML in their own building. Go Wings! Thanks so much once again, awood. No one has a channel quite like yours.

Christian Fischer technically didn’t have any points in this game, but he was why Copp was able to score that 4th goal. The guy is such an unsung hero for the team. I hope Stevie resigns him. Can play anywhere in the lineup. He’s probably the hardest backchecker on the team, forechecks hard and has some offensive abilities too, as he has shown in Arizona. Not that many points this year d/t utilization mostly. I was thrilled when he was signed after following him in AZ and knew fans would grow to appreciate his game too.

Fischer - Copp - Ras line has been very good for the past couple of weeks. They have the ability to score and are responsible defensively. All kill penalties, and good for them. .

Our 3rd line has been a Grind-Line lite. Not on the same level of Maltby-Draper-McCarty, but the spirit is there.

Not many people seem to point out his backchecking; good call on that one. I'm coaching 8U and 10U right now, and I'm trying to teach all our young players that getting back to play defense is EVERYONE'S responsibility, not just the defensemen.

Seider has already become one of the best defensemen in the league already. He made so many great plays tonight. And Larkin got his 200th and 201st. He is only 27. Still shocks me

While I think Larkin is a solid player, him having 200 goals while being in the league 9 years, for a skilled forward, isn’t as good as you think.

I started watching when I was about 12-13 years old. I just turn 23. I was at the last ever playoff win to date 2-0 against the lightning. It feels like it’s been my whole life since they have been good through all that time I’ve watched every single game around 10 live. Heck saw them in Columbus won 4-0 we have never lost while I saw them live (besides one ot loss) But what I’m getting at is, it makes me emotional seeing us become an actual team again. Thank you Stevie Y! LETS GO RED WINGS!!!!

Columbus has a cool as arena, eh. Go Wings I was down at LCA last Thur and Sat before seen LA and Philly go down.. How about beating LA Kings, next night beat LA Rams...next weekend we beat Tampa Buccaneers and that night Wings beat Tampa Bay Lightning. Awesome.times. Go BLUE

The fact they only let in those 2 really random goals VS vegas, is insane. Detroit if not for the bullshit hit by Ottawa and the suspension.... would be in first or second place, honestly. They're just as good as anyone and teams are NOT gonna wanna play them in the playoffs. They don't even need Patrick Kane that's whats scary, if he actually started to play really well with them, holy shit. Theyve had the most goals in the conference for a while, their defense is the prob but, 2-1, 3-0, 3-2, 5-2 wins, its been better!

Tell me you aren’t a lions fan without telling me you aren’t a lions fan. Detroit sports have been arguably the worst in the whole league for a long period of time. Couple Stanley cups and an nba championship and that’s it across the board since 2000. So yeah. Took half a season and 3 goalies but we've finally got a team defense that can beat a Stanley Cup champ. The system and line combos are sinking in, goaltending is hot and the compete is there for 60 minutes. Playoff bound if they continue this kind of play.
