@@TrainWithShubham Just small input , we only need S3 permission on EC2 , and also CodeDeploy Service only need AWSCodeDeployRole that's enough, It will work :)

after 3 days of consistently patching the bugs while creating this pipeline for my Nodejs web app on AWS here I'am writing this comment to thank you for this easy to understand tutorials , the best part was mentioning the failed builds too cause that's something which is bound to happen. PS: to the folks out there trying to create a CI/CD pipeline ......you'd definitely fail errors but they'll help you the next time you're back at it!

While creating service role in group deployment, there is no roles there in list and checked in iam in that there is only 3 roles attached so any one help on this.

i am facing the error while deploying the apllication even after providing all the service role it is unable to deploy on ec2 i got stck in this step in the depyment stage" BeforeInstall" and this my error Error code UnknownError Script name Message CodeDeploy agent was not able to receive the lifecycle event. Check the CodeDeploy agent logs on your host and make sure the agent is running and can connect to the CodeDeploy server.
