Are you writing backwards?? If so...very impressive! Great explanation of the differences! If i could recommend any new content it would be of AWS services use cases! I get what most do but always have trouble knowing why to use one over the other! Thanks again. I am a subscriber!

What is an example of an instance using all three storage types at once

It's very unlikely that you will have an instance with three types of Storage, because the App running on your EC2 Instance needs to access the Data, either through EBS or EFS or S3, but not all of them at the same time
