Haha, same here, in every RPG from Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Elder Scrolls to all MMOs, It's a Paladin with a 2 hand maul or War Hammer and Board.

Hey Axel can you recommend a bladeforged paladin build that is more recent? Would this one work or need adjustment? Looking for one handed weapon style with heals. I’m looking around and not finding a lot.

I don't have one off hand. It could be similar to this one but using greatswords with Lord of blades diety feat and IC slash instead of bludgeon. Probably just stay pure pally.

I do kinda wish you had an option for running it WITHOUT silvanus, so it wouldn't be mauls I guess. I get why it's necessary so oh well.

This build revolves around Silvanus for race choice, feats and gear so a no Silvanus option would pretty much be a completely new build.

You could however, do a pretty close alternative with Bladeforged/Warforged using greatsword instead of maul since construct races have the option of greatsword favored weapon with LoB diety feat so take LoB instead of Silvanus, and swap WF: bludgeoning and IC:Bludgeon for slashing variants. You'll lose a feat as well since you aren't PDK/human.

No. But Bladeforged have the option of greatsword favored weapon with LoB diety feat so this build could be easily be modified for that. Take LoB instead of Silvanus, and swap WF: bludgeoning and IC:Bludgeon for slashing variants. You'll lose a feat as well since you aren't PDK/human.
