You would need a 10t mod 0.3 piniin with 2mm hole. Aliexpress has them and amazon as well. As for the spur to be honest the stock one is just fine. I did the 59t on my build because I already had one but the benefits to cost ratio doesnt really merit the change.

Its the same size motor (130) but as far as I can remember the xmod motors did not have the 2 mounting holes in front of the can to bolt up to the plate I made. As far as speed xmod achieved this with same speed motor but different gear ratios so any of the motors from the same upgrade kit would be the same speed once u yse the pinion needed to match the spur on this setup. In short, I dont think the xmods motor would work because it lacks the mounting holes for the bolts 😔.

@@Gamyrc have you had any issue with crawling under minimal throttle input? like its still a pretty slow crawl speed

@@tonyd.2705 Slow speed control is good but my other motor plate the V2 is much better. This motor plate helps you get more speed.

@@Gamyrc I appreciate it man.. the v2 is aimed more towards crawling or the v1 is? stock setup isn't bad i just want a little more torque down low and a little more speed up top for the harder stuff

@@tonyd.2705 The thing with motors is usually you get one or the other. Either gear it for slow crawl or gear it for fast speed. Now going to a bigger motor like the 130 will give you loads more torque which will allow it to be geared a bit faster and still maintain lots of low end but theres limits as far as range goes. Its all about rpms and if you upgrade to a 3s capable esc you can stretch that rpm roof much higher allowing for super slow crawl and then some much needed top end speed as well. My plates allow for a wide range of pinions to be used giving you the ability to make it just right for what you need

Also, if you ordered V2 you can get the 12t pinion for much slower speeds. V1 needs 25t of larger.

I have another variation of the mount that allows for use of a 10t pinion. Also, dual motors always hurt one motor more than the other and you will have premature wear. Thats why I stay away from that combination unless you separate the motors so one does the feont and one the rear axle.

DC motors can be run in water but keep in mind it will severely decrease its life if you do not fully clean them after. And if doing mud that mud will damage armature and brushes as well.

The 130 plate can be used for the 180. But the only ones where it will clear frame are the V3 and Fatgirl plates.

Dual motor mounts arent reliable. One motor will always be putting out more than the other and when ones brushes start fading the stress on the "good" motor is even higher and hard to notice. Single steonger motor works best. Plus, a single 130 geared correctly can break your driveshafts, and I have motor mounts all the way up to a 380 Revolver so power is not really an issue 🤔😅

@@Gamyrc two transmission's 1 for front 1 for rear? I have seen dual motor mounts for the Chinese trucks the wpl b16 line. Just wondering if it could be done. You then could have dig for front / rear. Axles/drive shafts gears would all be metal at that point.

@@sarantisharitopoulos8252 Not for the scx24, but I can design one. At least for this plate, but keep in mind this plate does t allow for pinions smaller than 17t, the v2 plate allows 11t pinion and doesnt need a cover because the motor is in front.

Ordered the v2 mount and motor. Now I just need a pinion. I can still use the stock spur with that, right? And do you have a link for a pinion?
