You've seen the Pinecone unboxing.
You've seen the Pinecone first drive.
You might even have seen the comparison with the SCX24.
Now it's time to see them both run on purpose-built micro crawler courses.
Just how much better will the SCX24 be? You might be surprised!

I put the stock tires from my Hobby Plus CR24 on my Pine cone SG 2402 , it made a big difference in traction . I love the scale look of it when driving it.

Very interesting. I thought about doing that but at a glance it looked like they'd be too big and snag on the wheel arches.

I did that as well after reading your comment, but the wheels are too big and you can't even turn the front wheels without the fender crushing the tire. Did you put the entire rim and tire on or did you just put the tires onto the pinecone rim?

It's funny to me that when browsing the Internet, many people write that this Defender can't do anything in the field. I'm sorry, not every off-road vehicle is a modified car with 40 purpose wheels. This Defender is very realistic from what I can see. Additionally, it is made of metal, so it is heavy, just like a real car. And not as light as a feather like the Lexan ones. I had an Amewi AMX24 but it failed very quickly because it has poor drive shafts and I gave it away. My son has an Absim Jimny 1/24 and I was going to order one too. But I think I'll order such a Defender because I like its realism. I think that if this manufacturer releases more models of other cars built this way, it could be really interesting. Because not everyone wants to drive and climb boulders 10 times larger than a car. Even though it's modeling and the scale is small, I'm looking for realism. And I think this car gives it. I won't say specific equipment, and it didn't work for everyone. But as for me, this seems to be what I've been looking for for a really long time. Just a realistic metal model of a normal, unmodified car. It looks and drives really great.

I totally agree. I think it's a great little car and it's much nicer to drive than most other 1:24 trucks. I love the look and challenge of scale driving and the only things that this needs to look better are a driver and hub caps over the off-scale wheel nuts.

I'd have a look at the new Axial Power Wagon, if you're thinking of getting a mini-crawler. Probably not quite as good performance, as it's a hard body, but it's gorgeous. Plus, you can get a trailer for it. For performance it's the Deadbolt or the Gladiator.

i guess the idea is if you are able to make an indoor play area you make one that the more realistic models can use

Well, I'd go with the idea that any crawler course should have sections of mixed difficulties with the hardest ones being too hard for anything that you drive on it. That way there's something to aim for or something that a later car might surprise you with.

It's just a different sort of thing and not for everyone. No, they didn't sponsor the video.

The pinecone is unbelievably good looking for the price and equally as incompetent off road.

I don't think it's all that bad off road. Probably a bit more realistic as a factory car than most crawlers are. You're right though, it's a pretty little thing, isn't it? Much better looking than the real one!
