I have been using those exact housings in my U4 race Bomber for over a year with zero issues. Broke lots of other parts, but the housings have been great.

Ah, the SMT...great truck but I'm always wondering "What will I break this time?" :p Time to get mine out again. I run "beef" style tubes in my axle housings.

That was awesome dude, ain’t had mine out in a while, I do have the Vanquish housings front and back and the trailing arms, still stuck electronics and brushed motor

My short wheelbase smt10 has about 800$ wrapped up in it. 4700kv castle/sw4 combo, integey this, vanquish that.....servo a/f servo saver....i rarely break stuff anymore.

This is why wood makes a better block to smash axels straight! It allows for the steel to over bend to compensate for the spring back effect the steel will have.

If you put the bent shaft on a 2x4 then hit it the wood will give under the blow and let the rid bend into the wood letting it straighten out

You need the mip drive shafts all metal universals I had some on mine before I got rid of it for the losi and they took a lot of abuse.

a quick fix for this until you get a new drive shaft is to take some heavy-duty shrink tube and shrink it over the drive shaft. Its not pretty but it will keep you out on the jumps for a bit longer.

I saw a fellow insert a drill bit in the Male piece of the drive shaft. It kept it from twisting and collapsing on itself. May be worth a shot?

I'm glad I got a lmt instead of a smt. For what I bash the amount of upgrades it needs to hold up to bash the cost you would spend you can just buy a more stout cooler lmt!

I just sold my smt10 for 200$ It was over powered has 6s esc and 4s motor beat that truck and now I’m gonna get a new one fully built

Idk if drive shafts are a real problem on these trucks but the ryft drive shafts would be a super nice and tough upgrade

Are those extra speed ? Looks like it I dremel,d a set to put a third bearing on the pinion which involved cutting a socket 🤬any way that metal doesn't grind worth a dang!! Never broken them either great video👍💯

Thanks for this video 🙂. This Axial is less expensive than the losi smt, and it seems to me much more fragile than the lmt. I'm wrong. In the end, I tell myself that buying this Axial cheaper, and having to upgrade all the parts, is going to get me to the same price as a losi lmt... Do you know of any other stadium truck like this one that would be more reliable and solid?

thats a monster truck not a stadium truck . when i built my monster truck i used a hpi savage with proline bypass shocks and fling king 3.8 tires on rc4wd beadlocks , carbon tvp plates , novarossi 28-8 motor with ths racing pipe ,i ONLY use vp racing nitro 20 percent

I have a SMT with grey vanquish axles housings, blue steering parts and lockouts. Hot racing aluminum and carbon fiber trailing arms. Custom carbon fiber sway bars. Incision upper links. Caslte mamba x and holmes hobbies 3800kv censored. Robinson racing steel spur. Reefs 500. Aluminum rc4wd beadlock wheels jconcepts renegade tires. Mip bombproof super shafty driveshafts. I really want to buy the carbon assault chassis for 200 bucks to finish it off. It has a white silverado body painted pearl white. I had custom stickers made for it. Its called white lightning.

Hey Joe, On eBay I've found ar60 aluminum c hubs and knuckles combo for $25. I'd love if you could pick up a set or two and review them. I've been wanting to do rear steer on my bomber, been thinking of the eBay aluminum parts, but worried about the quality. I'd send you the link if you're interested

Merci pour cette vidéo 🙂. Ce Axial et moins cher que le losi smt, et il me paraît bien plus fragile que le lmt.. je me trompe. En fin de compte, je me dit que, acheté ce axial moins cher, et devoir upgrade toute les pièces,va me fair arriver au même prix qu'un losi lmt... Tu connais d'autre modèle de stadium truck comme celui là,qui serait plus fiable et solide ?

😂 hah its the Rc mt guys thing it seems, break 3 things in one pack ‘’that was a good run!’’ Same with all mates that have lmt and keep ordering more and more parts for it. Jokes aside its old platform not really made for such jumps, iirc it is great for mt racing being lighter than most of competition. Still think they are super fun for scale bashing.
