I was born in 1984. My babysitter was a big fan, so I would watch the Live at the Ritz '88 TV concert almost daily before I was old enough to go to school. I just loved the intro to Jungle and would imitate Axl at the beginning of the song every time. So that first video brings back great memories. I think the '92 clip might be from the Live in Tokyo DVD they released which I've seen dozens of times. 2006, I was finally old enough to see them (in Ottawa). His voice was killer in '06. 2010... who tried to drown him that night? Lol 2016 This was after he broke his foot and I was fortunate to see him fully recovered and not sitting down for my first reunion show (Toronto), again awesome vocals. I saw them again in 2017 (Montreal). Still killer vocals. I haven't seen them since, but I hope he hasn't worn out his voice too much. I've heard some less impressive short clips lately, but compared to Vince Neil, Axl is still singing like he's 27 lol

Are you a singer now?
@dw17844 ай бұрын
@samouellette5130 I sang in 3 different bands over the years. I actually did some minor damage to my voice in 2017. The day after Chris Cornell died (RIP), we had rehearsal, and we covered Show Me How to Live and Hunger Strike. It was such a sad day, and I gave it everything I had. It turned out to be too much, and my voice wasn't the same again for months. I ended up losing that gig about 4 months later. Fortunately, with some rest, I was able to get back into it the following year with a different band, and I was able to get my voice back. I'm not in a band at the moment, though. I moved for work and haven't come across any bands looking for rock singers. Instead, I just continue to write my own songs in my man cave for my enjoyment.

Assisti no Rock in Rio, Maracanã, a banda no auge. Acho, que Axl acabou com a sua voz cantando dessa maneira. Exagerava de sua habilidade vocal. Lamentável. Adorei aquele20 de janeiro de1991, meu presente de aniversário , que seria em 24.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Axl had one of the most unique voices in rock history primarily because of his high pitched screams. His vocal range was extraordinary however 30+ years of that will do serious damage which was evidently the reason his voice continued to change. Axl was one bad ass rocker ❤❤

At his best during the early years. The first example from live at the Ritz is pure rock, raw and full of talent. Young and physically very fit. Gradually lost everything after '06 somewhere.
