After months and months of procrastination I have finally installed my axle seals. It’s not a glorious job but it’ll save you $500 or more when you do it yourself. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Good video. I recommend using a plastic scrapper to not scratch the surface when your removing the old gasket scratches can give you leaks

This is a $700 job in Canada. Major pain in the A$$. My leak started because I had a faulty Wheel speed sensor and had to change my wheel bearing back to OEM after they had been changed to an aftermarket bearing and the wheel speed sensor from Jeep would not fit. a $90 job turning into a $1000 job.

Do you remember approximately how many miles your Jeep had when the seals went bad? Just this morning I discovered mine was leaking. And is a 2018 with 25k miles.. Thanks for the video looks like it’s some thing I’m gonna be able to do myself. Just super irritated now instead of going out wheeling on my long weekend I get to work on my jeep

This method doesn't work with two piece spicer seals. I just ordered a seal installer tool, I busted a two piece seal last night using this socket and hammer method. Buy once cry once.
