That's the beauty of the Dead. You can hear the same song at different concerts and they all differ. Yet, they all fkn rock!!

My favourite band -BY FAR!!! THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME FOR ME!!! (sorry for the All-Caps but I sincerely mean to express my genuine love for the Dead, yet my constant hatred of Drums/Space)...sure it was off-the-cuff and totally improvisational...sure it was different every night...sure, it requires a complex understanding of a particular musical structure...but fuck me! I used to go take a pee every time they started this. It just wasn't musically entertaining for me. It bored me. It made me tired, and was the only ONLY TIME! during a show where I'd take a seat.

wangson If you were as into the dead as you claim, you'd realize that this was their way of getting breaks without abandoning their high af crowd and leaving them music-less 1st strings...then drums 😑😑😑

This stuff was down right spooky sometimes with a face full of acid, but I loved every second of it especially the drums.
