As someone who lived in Ireland for almost 12 years, I have to agree with you on almost all points except one - Racism in Ireland will rise when there is recession. Irish are one of the best and down to earth people in the world, partly because of their Catholic traditions and poverty of the past. I was there during the Global Financial crisis, and there was virtually zero racist incidents against non EU residents - thanks to the generous state welfare system. When it stops, racism will rise. Don't go to Ireland with huge dreams, unless you have unlimited work rights and qualifications (IT, Nursing with IELTS etc.). But if you decide to go, or you are already there, give some time (at least 5-6 years till you get a passport) and you will realise your dreams.

I found Ireland friendly. Especially the ones outside Dublin. The people I met were really nice. It is expensive, obviously. Pls don't forget Kerala even in India has a low cost of living despite the higher standards of living compared to rest of India. Would you be okay third World citizens invade your small town in Kerala and start buying land and taking up jobs? However bad it is, it's the truth. Medical: I've found that flying to Kerala and getting treatment there works out cheaper. Madyanapanam: That's the culture in Europe. Except for new sharia law based countries. Travel: Buy a car. Works out cheaper. Public transport isn't that great in Ireland comparable to say, City of London. Racism: That's bound to happen. Considering how the face of Europe has changed. You see more mosques and Asian establishments than the traditional European establishments. The world is changing. Esp for us Indians. Have to live with it. Your attempt is much appreciated. Look on the brighter side, amnities we get from the taxes we give so great and the state has the responsibility of taking care of us in our old age. look at the benefit of social security that the state guaranty us.
