I've had my GEEK 1S for a month now and have gotten comfortable playing and using a Windows handheld. With pretty much everything set up how I'd like (besides diving into frontends) I am really happy with the device and am just having a really good time with it. A Windows handheld won't be for everybody and people will have certain expectations for software, but for me and my purposes I'm very happy with this purchase.

After using the Geek 1S as well for a while, I have noticed that if you use hibernate while playing the game, and Steam is running in big picture mode, upon wake-up Steam will capture controls and they won't go to the game. Trying to alt-tab or refocus the game in some way also doesn't work, so i stopped using Steam big picture as a front end and would recommend something else, if you want some kind of "sleep" function with your console. Also tried the same thing on my laptop - same result, Steam grabs the controls focus and doesn't let go until full app restart, just reopening big picture mode doesn't help. But other than that, really enjoy my device, feels good in the hand, plays nice, not very loud, especially if you set up custom fan profile.

This is really good info on the device, thank you. I’ve been interested in getting an Aya device for awhile- just waiting for it all to mature slightly more, and be more efficient for the dollar. Also I’ve observed their software like Aya space get clean over time. One of these years I’ll get my hands on one.

Might bite on the GPD Win Mini but if I continue to wait I am sure something newer will come. Have you tried playing any of the Armored Core series for Playstation?

thank you very much for showing how to use the gyroscope on cemu, I've wanted to play star fox zero for some time, but I didn't know how to set it up. Can you tell if it also works in the game killzone 2? in the parts where you need to turn the control to move the crank? or in the little big planet games?

I've not personally tested it in RCPS3 but seeing as the Dualshock uses it and Handheld Companion can emulate that controller I'm assuming it's possible.

Thinking about switching from my A1 Pro to this. The only thing I don't like about the A1 Pro is the d-pad. What are you overall thoughts about the Geek 1s d-pad?

The plastic looks pitted. Is that part of the case texture or is the paint doing something odd thanks for sharing.

Can you try modding the analog sticks from RP2S? MAybe even finding a wat to use rubber membrane switches for the D-Pad?

Does the screeen get hot? I had an ayaneo 2 a year ago and when i played triple A games at high settings my screen got very Hot it felt very uncomfortable.

I’m having a real problem in getting any games other than Xbox game pass app to recognize the ayaneo deck controls. my steam library and emulators aren’t showing any options that would lead me to believe it’s even an option. I can’t seem to find any info online either. They all work with wired controllers and keyboard. What am I doing wrong? Or where am I not looking correctly. Any help / pointers would be appreciated.

Lol I think I need to do a video on purchasing handhelds. I'm using the Geek 1S now but I would say there's always a place for a Miyoo Mini Plus and the Retroid Pocket 3+ is just so nice to have for PSP stuff. But I'm very excited about the Odin 2, I think it's gonna be a main stay for years to come.

@@-roetaka agreed I thought about modding a ps vita for psp games n vida, I use my 3ds for gb, gbc, GBA games and nes n SNES.
