Excellent performance. My father was a fan of Talat and the memories and songs of Talat would always bring me the memories of my father too. I also love the songs of Talat that way. I can cite many of the memorable songs of Talat. Pathitha, Ek gav ki kahani, Taxi Driver, Yasmi, Madhosh, to name a few.

Amazing how similar Rikiji's voice is to Talatji's, and to top that Rikiji is Talatji's son-in-law and both Padmabushan recipients. Allah has His own ways of brining particular people into each other's lives. Also Talatji's son is a great singer too, I believe. Shukhar Allah ka. Ameen.

Aye Gham E Dil kia karon... Beautiful gazal

I found the poem "Awara" of Majaj in the English alphabet. Kasturi, one of the commentators mentioned that she had read the whole poem. I'm so glad I was able to read it as I speak Urdu and other Indian languages but don't read or write any of them. Thank you for bringing this ghazal to us. I would appreciate such ghazals of Talatji's that Rikiji has sung.

Riki Rana has proved himself as a right Son-in-law of Talat saab. His voice, I can say is 60:40. But the entire poetry is very melodious to hear. I must also pay tribute to the great music director Sardar Malik. I am waiting when this entire movie Thokar will be uploaded by any old movie lovers.

It is very difficult to maintain the same vigor right from the start to end in singing such a lengthy Ghazal having 14 stanzas. Riki Rana Jee sang with so much devotion my heart melts.
