Disgusting, how he is literally implying to stay quiet about abuse, because you gain nothing out of it. I am sorry as a women when you suffer abuse or any kind of harassment, it stays with you always and it bothers you to another level.

Hats off to Ayesha Omer for patiently answering Nauman Aijaz’s nonsense and insulting questions. He was making fun of her in her face at his show. This is not the way a host should behave. He made every possible effort to make her uncomfortable. Which man talks about women’s dressing like him and try to impose his thoughts on her. She was the victim so why would she stay quiet. Pathetic man. I am not a fan of Ayesha’s dressing but she is a graceful lady, she proved it.

I never feel the need to comment but this just broke my heart. When someone robs your house, takes over your property, hits your family etc do you stay quiet? No. You get an FIR and tell the whole world about it. Why should someone who has been through assault stay quiet? Who is he to ask why she spoke when she spoke. Its people like him who put the onus of shame on victims and perpetuate this awful crime of sexual assault. I don't know how ayeha omar maintained her composure. However, here I would say that she did the right thing by speaking up and that also after 15 years of silence. So Nauman here is being a little harsh and mean on her. I have several criticisms for Ayesha omer too and the way she dresses up, only because I feel that it weakens women and I want to remind women to be be stronger and not given in to the consumer market demands to dress up to the nines for being viewed 'beautiful' and marketable all the time. you're a human and it will severly damage your inner confidence and self esteem eventually even if you look amazing all the time. We are too impatient to jump to a conclusion. Even though the conversation started on an uncomfortable note, HOWEVER, the outcome of that particular topic turned out to be such a beautiful, convincing reply by Ayesha, that was also whole heartedly applauded by Nauman Ijaz. May be it was intentional and discussed between Ayesha and Nauman prior to the show, we don't know. But sometimes, to help public see the depths of a matter, a lawyer, a host, a journalist has to throw harsh questions, sometimes at one's own client too. Let's not judge. The rape incidences has increased in pakistan because harassment was not stopped at first place. Staring women and touching them in shopping malls was always a concern even though these women were covered . It seems like western countries have more protection of women then many muslim countries. But Turkey is an exception women can be working there late at night on the street but noone will harass them. Or attack them because of strict laws.

I think every women who go through such situation or harassment always want to tell others but she can't as time passes it gives her more anxiety and she keeps on thinking that she would have dealt with that situation in a stronger way, some times she feels herself guilty as well but just by telling others and unwinding herself gives a catharsis to her state of mind as she assure herself she was not guilty, she was not the reason for being in such situation, men can't understand that, noman ijaz seems so arrogant while throwing his opinion towards guest on such sensitive matter, how a sensitive actor even do that..
