In my opinion the clips are definitely taking a hit, it being the third cleanup montage and all. However, I make these in order to save the funny stuff or what I think was cool at the moment of recording (lol).
I highly recommend people to do the same considering the clips you record on the dvr won't stay forever. I don't know exactly how long they stay but they do disappear after a few months or maybe a year.
