I love Ayra Starr... the first song I heard by her was "RUSH" idk if u guys reacted to it yet but it is SOOOOO FYEEEE. Check it out if you have not and the fact that she is only 20 is immaculate. We are the same age but she is def someone I LOOK UP TO. She is the reason why I am getting into more AFROBEAT music as a Black American myself. It makes me feel connected in some way.

That melody and that guy singing in the background is an old school song from Awilo Longomba a Congolese soukous singer. As a Haitian kid my elders would play this song on repeat. It’s really elite 🙌🏾❤️

That beat is not from Congo , it’s just the melody that’s from Congo. The beat is purely Afrobeats fusion. The dance is also from Nigeria . That’s been that dance since 2001
