As is tradition, a new King cover in hololive has brought me back here. Doesn't matter how many times you hear it or how much time passes, it's always an amazing cover. My favorite among the hololive covers, and in general as of that. Ayunda is truly King

Not to disregard the other holos, but I think Risu has the best cover of this song by a long shot. It's very unique.

If I were to rank them, I'd say Risu has the best range and most powerful/technically skilled vocal set of anyone in Hololive. There are few that match her voice acting and singing, Kanata and Suisei could probably give her a run for her money, but Risu is unbelievably talented. Of course, best singer is a lot more subjective than most skilled, Okayu doesn't have the widest range, but she's amazing within her range, Calli is an incredible musician, Gura is so relaxing and angelic, etc. However, I do agree with you on this cover, and the crazy thing is that Risu said she was only giving it about 80% because she didn't wanna bother her neighbors.

I wasn't a fan of Ayunda Risu during the peak wave of King cover releases but as I delved into comparing every King cover out there, I conceded & subscribed as I arrived to the conclusion this really is the best King cover from a vocal and musical standpoint. Has the vocal chops, range, and most importantly, the vibe. It's like she wrote it herself. I compare this to Whitney Houston elevating Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You track. Risu OWNS this Kanaria song.

@@ShadowSein no specific lore behind it. Risu just use 3 voice high, medium and deep voice all of them is 1 person. She mention when use high its Risu and when use deep voice its Ayunda. You can see she use both voice in compilation video "Risu show off her voice acting". Not forget to mention she actually can sing the opera song really good.

@@ZianJannah Yeah, this piece is kinda like a blank canvas. Just vocal timbre and some really simple style differences make all the covers really unique. My personal favorite out of the covers I've seen is Roboco's, but that's primarily because I like roboco's voice and singing style. Their singing is enough to make each individual cover sound different, but even then, some of them are complete standouts. Like, mafumafu's cover has a rap verse or something, kuzuha/shien (and probably more)'s covers are transposed up by a whole step, and luz's has some really cool editing added.

No gimmicks. Cleanest vocals. Has the most power. Nailed every note flawlessly. Etc. Basically, Risu knocked it out of the park and only Suisei has been able to even come close to toppling her.

For the new risuners out there (Risu's fanbase name = Risuners), for thr new risuners are saying "wait wtf this isnt risu her voice is high right?", Risu has 2 GODLY Voice which is : - High Voice Risu (Her Voice used in any streams) which is the Normal Risu - The DEEEEPP Voice (Her Ultra Ara Ara-ic Onee san voice used to tease Risuners/Singing that has a deep voice in it) is her "Ayunda" Voice we called it So, Risu has the Normal Risu Voice (the High Voice of her) and the Deeeepp voice Ayunda (Risu's Deep Voice) and also, shes great at immitating hololive members/popular anime characters/etc especially Okayu and shes also good at singing opera songs like dat. Thats my explanation
