I don't think Lisa is WOKE. She's just love her country. She always says she want to tell people that she is Thai. Thailand is her country. Lalisa is Thai from Thailand.

She makes a statement about the all Asians look the same trope in the scene where everyone is wearing white hoodies. Breaking Asian stereotypes? Again, that's woke! Are you aware (woke!) that the anti-woke narrative is just right-wing propaganda? Are you aware (woke!) that a Karen wrote an entire book on the "evils of wokeness". When asked to defne woke, she could not? Are you aware (woke!) that anti-woke presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis banned books on black history, banned teachers for using the word gay, and went after Disney for including gay people in their movies? These bad-faith actors want you to believe that a billion dollar multi-media corporation ran by an all white board of directors, like Disney, is woke?! TBF, Disney's granddaughter seems to know what's up!

@jaedo6180 Listen carefully. All that Lisa put in her MV is to show that she is a Thai who's proud of her country --- the place,the people,the culture--everything. She's just standing and speaking for her own country. That's it; not being WOKE.

Breaking Asian stereotypes is not a reflection on Thai culture. Neither does the lyric 'can you teach me Japanese' have anything to do with Thai culture. You act ss if being woke is a bad thing. This is why it's obvious you don't know what the word means. Sounds like you fell for right-wing propaganda!
