I have a confession to make: when I first started playing wow in 2004 I made a human paladin. I slowly grinded my way up to level 44 and was happy as a clam. I had about 20 days /played at that point. My friend came over to my house and I showed him my character. I was excited to show him my first trinket: the cold basilisk eye. He said "nice, what talents do you have" I responded "talents?" He said "hit N". It was at that moment I realized I has been leveling as a naked, unspecd paladin. I then proceeded to put all my points in the Retribution tree. I lived happily ever after. The End

I am excited for Wrath Classic... but no matter how I feel about it I know it won't be the same as when it first came out. Their best selling xpac with the highest amount of subs. Unfortunately it won't be the same because of all the changes to WoW, it's a different game, there have been tons of quality of life updates and simplifying of things. The people who didn't play it when it came out won't feel the same way about it as the people who did. During the first 2 xpacs they were new, the content new, people were still exploring, learning and having fun. Now everything is min maxed in a perfectly prepared guide that makes everything linear and mundane. The obsessive min maxing now makes the social aspect less enjoyable and more tedious as well. Although a lot of people hated progression I missed when people didn't care as much, even when I sucked at the game I could get into raids and dungeons and it was enjoyable because it was a learning process. When WoW came out, especially WOTLK, I was literally saved. It became my escape from a depressing reality and I got lost in the world. I always thought about it, it was the world I would have loved to exist in. The character, the atmosphere, the music, the environments despite their 64 graphics. It was so easy to get lost in and form an emotional attachment to.

Ah I remember trying to get realm first scribe (losing out by 2 points) and then working towards Insane in the Membrane. I did so much inscribing that there was a time I spend 4 hours just milling ink. I sold quite a lot of Greatness decks (after getting the repu from them), 11 or so? Can't remember. But I've got enough leftover gold for that expansion.

Maximum Engineering, Oh I know what that was referring to, it's the Saronite Bomb Glitch for The Lich King fight. Because two less mechanics (Defile, Null Zone launch trap) makes the encounter easier, especially for a World First Down of the Lich King. Unrelated but what would the Mechgineer Chopper/hog be worth? If I remember the Mount plan vendors came with WotLk.

I have a DMC: Greatness on all of my physical DPS toons on Warmane, it’s an excellent starter trinket that’ll carry you all the way to ICC. However, come Classic Wrath, don’t even bother dropping the absurd amount of gold on it because you can easily replace it in Ulduar, ToC or with one of the emblem attack power trinkets. I’d recommend Banner of Victory, Needle-Encrusted Scorpion, Dark Matter, Mark of Supremacy (if you need the hit rating), Comet’s Trail (nice haste trinket for unholy, ret, rogue), Victor’s Call, Pyrite Infuser, Grim Toll, Mirror of Truth. There’s also the ilvl 200 trinkets that you get from the Brewfest event that are excellent for all classes.

As a long term wotkl player, remember guys when wotkl comes, just exp 2 characters, one for playing second for Herb + Insc proffs (druid is best choice tho due to fly gathering). Dont farm gold for greatnes, it is waste of time, just craft it and sell rest of additional noble cards.
