By the end of Season 2, Lexa's got a lot to make up for, what with selling Clarke to die at Mt. Weather like she did, instead of sticking the course and finishing off that base of the monsters like she should've. Sometimes you take the casualties and just endure them to rid yourself of a tyrant's base- and that's exactly what they should've done in that case... no wonder as Season 3 begins and they meet up that Clarke's so ticked off with her like she is in that part of that season!
