She's one of the rappers that didn't come up from a huge co-sign or screwing around with producers/DJs. Especially on the female rap side, most come out of a group or with a male lead. Having already worked with the aforementioned makes her successful in rap, not many other rappers could even fathom that. Her word play and use of syllables is and will be heralded.
