Welcome to Azerbaijan. We just love our guests and I think we don't really have any prejudice for any color or race (maybe some ignorant do have it, but not in general). Everybody is welcome. I would also hit on you or flirt with you girls :), if I sow you in Baku...cause you girls are gorgeous with an attractive positive aura! Peace and love and come back again, cause we have so many other great cute cities, towns, lakes, mountains and beautiful vineyards in Azerbaijan. Also the food is different in every region.

The reaction of people is not racism but curiosity. The people there lived under the Soviet rule and the country is new for afro-american culture, thus some people who came from the rural areas to Baku are seeing afro-americans for the first time in their lives and this is curious and very exotic for them. It is nothing to do with racism.
