Hey Congratulations on finshing!! I am just sooo inspired watching you two. I lost my wife a couple yrs ago to cancer, we had just retired. Watching you two during her cancer treatments and after she passed has kept me company and inspired me to carry on with our dream of exploring our great country. Thank you for being my virtual 'friends' when I needed them most. Your energy, smiles and positive messages have really kept me going. I hope someday to bump into you in your travels so I can say this face to face, thank you thank you thank you!

My favorite part was your lunch on the Grand Canyon trail looking out into the canyon was the most epic spot I have ever seen. 😊😊. Jacob Lake has the best home made cookies and they are open year round. The North Rim campground is my favorite as a this so pretty and then you get those awesome cookies as your heading into the North Rim and then again heading out. My friends always ask me to bring them some home. And did you know the young people who are the servers are in college they come and work between quarters.

COOKIES = Brain Food (in my book, in small doses; large doses = Temp Heaven- ‘practice’ happiness). You guys rock! Thanks for our multi day outing with you! You taught me a thing or two about water on this trip. More research warranted to stay safe while hydrating. Sure beats trying to pack it all in… The trick about Friends driving friends’ vehicles to the trail head end is quite clever. I like how you IDed that your brain switched near the terminus to work for reaching your rig: horse to the barn phenomenon. Here’s to having some sweet memories to savor, great views to revisit in your mind’s eye and enhanced cookie standards to compare product at your future bakery stops. Enjoy it all - you earned it!
