My profile picture actually has lore… One day I went to my local duck pond to take photos of the sunset. I found this white-tan colored duck with a green bill, who I noticed loved being photographed because he would ALWAYS sneak his way into my photos. I ended up nicknaming him “Photo Duck”. Every time I go to the pond I always see him there and take pictures of specifically him. I have decided to set him as my profile pic for everything. :)

Surprised you didn't mention OC Profile Pics because the people who use them are one of three things: a deviantART user, they have an established fan canon universe that details the struggles and trials of every original character that has enough lore that the character could be put in the actual cannon and it would have a benefit to the franchise material in having some retired writers come out of retirement to rewrite the lore or they just did it for fun and think it's neat before everyone and their grandma starts making requests the moment there's a "will do art for money" advertisement no matter how bizarre or cursed it is.

When I was a kid and I had my first YT channel in 2006 I would always change my PFP to whatever I found XD sO rAnDoM that month (had OMG IT SPINS as a solid backup if I needed one), but since creating this channel in 2013 I've had the same picture. I can't wait until 2050 when I can use my boomer selfie I took grilling bug protein burgers and just ride that out for the rest of my life

My profile picture here on KZfaq actually has some meaning behind it. It was drawn by friend AK who is mostly known for making obscure Nintendo related videos. The console I am holding is a Famicom and for most people outside of Japan they have no idea what this console is but they do know what an NES is. My character holding a Famicom along with my bio "the guy who owns a Famicom" is supposed to convey that I not only know about the stuff released in the country I live in but the games outside my country as well. The Famicom perfectly symbolizes this cause I know a lot about the console and its history but a lot of other folks nearby have no idea and simply think the Famicom is just a Japanese NES and move on.

I’m a big mha fan but it tells a lot when I see another fellow mha “fan” and I’m not immediately like ”oh it’s an mha fan cool!” But instead, I shield my interests until I know I’m safe to even begin to be friends with that person. I’ve learnt the hard way in high school what 60 percent of the mha “fandom” is like. They’re other absolutely deranged socially inept people who when they notice you don’t like their favorite character will “kindly” tell you why you’re wrong, many aren’t even actual fans they just say they like the show because they watched one episode and “related” to blood sucking girl or breakdancing alien.
