BB = 0:40 CV = 11:30 CA = 17:00 CL = 21:00 DD = 23:50 dont mind me just putting theses while going to build my ships u can use it too but I recommend to watch the whole vid

Came across this guide and helped me alot of understanding the general stuff on the putting the right equipment since I wasn't sure what was the right stuff to putt on the crusiers and BB. Aircarriers I was glad most of the equipment u mentioned I had them equiped besides the crosiers that u mentioned. I do have a question though. Would you mainly put equipment that focuses on crit damage or mainly items that help with the hit aswell? I seen people either go with just crit of a mix of both.

I use the 410 gold on my Nagato. With her 40% proc chance. I need that extra damage. Remember stronger barrages will have a lower proc chance. Meaning you are wanting a mixture between firepower and speed.

What do you think of purple fire control radars on heavy cruisers? I equip my heavy cruisers with a purple fire control radar for the extra firepower and hit, and one survivability gear like the rudder or repair tool kit. With this setup survivability isn't usually an issue, as long as I have another tank.

The thing I have circled in red in the bottom right at 5:59 is not the same weapon coeff as the one on the left. That's something else, regardless go dig it up on the wiki if you care about numbers and math so much. I personally don't think too much of the damage formula at all.

belfast gun i a sakura empire gun you get it from sakura boxes. 155mm type 3 /60 also know as yamato. besides of that good video man, quick and dirty.

Great video...buuuttt, as a serious warship nerd so to speak I just want to make a correction that's been bugging me. That's not Belfasts gun, HMS Belfast used a tripple 152mm gun not that 155mm gun. The gun you're calling the Neptune gun is also actually the Belfast gun as that is the gun she actually used. They both used the same gun. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BL_6-inch_Mk_XXIII_naval_gun if you'd like to know more feel free to read up the gun design was very cool, Belfast was Town class and Neptune was Leander class. Anyway, great video.

so if im running a double carrier fleet should I keep one with 2 homing beacons and the other one with 2 catapults for min maxing auto attacks?

If they're slow or no preload, use homing beacon if you're using someone like Helena.

I don't think it makes any difference unless ur using certain aux that buff only a certain faction ship, I'd suggest following the tier list as it will help ya in knowing which guns need which farmable guns

ik this is an older video but i have a question as a new player: why do you call certain guns a ship's gun? like the belfast gun for example? are these guns just commonly associated with the ship? for newer players, it's a little confusing looking for certain guns when they're called a ship's gun imo

Thanks for the 7:24. Truth is I'm looking for a good HE gun to +11 up to +13(probably) but I don't know which HE BB gun is an upgrade to MK406 and ppl have said that upgrading MK406 beyond +10 is a waste on gold plates

You don't really need +11 or higher for anything in this game right now, I'm making another video today in regards to gold plate priorities. But if you really want to +13 something, then pick Monarch's gun over the 406 mk6.

Dunno what 410 gun you're talking about, need a proper name for that. FDG gun is not as good as 406 mk6 and you have to put in additional effort researching it in PR2 as well when 406 mk6 has super easy access.

You can if you want, just preference. End game IJN quads rule all anyways because of manual damage.

Much of the high-level content has enemies so dangerous, that face-hugging to hit a quad-torp is basically suicide, or just not worth the trade. If that is a frequent problem to you, use magentic quad-torps, since they have higher dps as long as they hit just a single torp more than the regular quad, which is most of the time garantueed because of their homing feature. PvP is a no-brainer aswell since you cant control firing distance, resulting in magnetic supremacy. Just my take tho Edit: I guess mass-destruction is a thing the normal torps accel at.

Using gear from certain factions doesn't have any consequences when used on ships of another faction type. It's just all math.

Sorry man but Imma correct you a bit for the newbie's sake Belfast gun is from IJN gold box. The game nickname is Belgun but its Mogami-class gun historically Also one could argue that rather than the hoodgun which fire two shells, the better gun for proc based barrage BB/BC (like Hood) would be the Proto Triple 305mm (bismarck gun?) with almost similar firerate but with extra shell and damage. Both guns are in pr3.

The thing is hood's gun is way easier to make than the latter gun because it's accessible in all 3 PR seasons. Not to mention you use this gun to farm with in maps like 7-2 or at least that's what I recommend you use it for so it doesn't matter how strong the gun is because everything will die to 1 hit anyways and hood gun's faster. It's also tighter spread and higher coeff at +13 if we want to push boundaries. By the time you even get around to PR3 there are way better options to make than the latter gun. You're right on the Belgun part though, I was talking too fast to think.

The naming of the guns is all over. Cleveland gun is german 2 barrel etc. Very hard for anyone who knows the historical reality to grasp. Myself included

@@teemu3370 well, the naming convention is based on which ship benefit the most with the particular guns, so what we can do, eh? Plus remember the actual name is hard.

The triple 305 is Odin's gun, but the damage and spread aren't that great even at +10. The twin 406 KMS gun (I think that's FDG's) is another somewhat fast loader and it's HE, so it's good for proc based barrages. For AP, there are Izumo's, Champagne's, and Georgia's guns but these can take while to get.

Yes and No, theres some guns that improve or complete a skill for determinate shipgirls, but there's no gun specification . Like King George V needs the quad HMS for completing the skill, but the gun alone don't need to go only in her.

Tigercat is easier to make but Sea Hornet is better. The thing about Sea Hornet though is it is a 2-stage build. The Tigercat can be made by just trading in a Hellcat.

@@Kimocheese no problem also in regards to DD guns on US BBs we also have the AP DD gun from the Ironblood part of the gear lab. The twin 130mm is the best fireboat killer for US BBs by far but we only have 1 from the Russian event.
