@@macdeep8523 😀OLD! Turning 62 and still in IT but hope is on the horizon in 17 months. I remember when the first shipset was made; it was static non-flyable. The crew compartment was built by Northrop ASD but the body was built by a different vendor. They couldn't get the 2 parts lined up. One of the design engineers I worked with told me they had to use sledge hammers and bondo to make it look correct. Yes, yes, they did get it corrected. But it's a good story.

The Ho 229 was of mixed construction, with central section in welded steel tubes and mainly wood-based alar surfaces. The wings were made with two thin plywood panels glued with a misling containing, among other things, sawdust and coal powder. The pilot sat in a primitive ejection seat. Over time several similar-line aircraft have been developed by Northrop such as the Northrop YB-35, Northrop YB-49 and Northrop-Grumman B-2 Spirit.
