Happy 4th July! This seemed like a fitting video to post today, featuring the epitome of American power - the B-52 Stratofortress! These big beauties are expected to continue serving the U.S. Air Force into the 2050's, making the original design 100 years old since its first flight in April 1952.
RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, UK, was once again home to a U.S. Air Force Bomber Task Force Deployment - this time from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. In total, four B-52s deployed to the UK base for a month, before heading home in pairs.
