I had never been to the Classic Motor Show before let alone the NEC. Wow! What a place and what an event. I haven't tried to get everything in, just what caught my eye!

These EV conversions are great if you never crash. This is so they can side step a UK Q plate. But having a large 200kg block of Li-Ion in an indestructible steel box in front and behind me means that you're the crumple zone. Great if you wave to the crowds in Windsor. Not great if you are rear ended on the A13. I can understand an EV 2CV, Beetle, Mini, 500 as the engine is pants and it's a city car. An E type is something that sounds great and enjoy at high speed

I saw the Rover 75 convertible at a show at Stonor Park a few months back, the work done to engineer an E Class hood mechanism is beyond belief, it’s as close to factory as you’ll get.. even 75 designer Richard Woolley was impressed! That primrose yellow 75 is just absolutely lovely.

The Green Tr8 is Triton green. Well done for catching some of the American cars as well. For info At 22,48 its Pearlescent British racing green not le mans but it is a nice colour particularly in the sun. I have a 75 in that colour. The Panther Deville well done for catching that one. Ross is correct they did use 1800 doors. The lima used midget doors. Thanks for the tour Rob excellent once again.

I may be wrong but @ 1:44 that Midget looks prep'd for trials. OK trials can be described as a rally but they are more about getting through very very difficult terrain - its slower than typical modern rallying and requires a different approach and skill set.

Hi, The car is a Panther Rio: Based on a Triumph Dolomite floorplan 4-door luxury saloon Only about 18 were built by The Panther West Winds Car Company which was started in 1972 by Bod Jankel.
