Saw this live... It was incredible. This years bcone was really good compared to the last few years. The final battle was really really close... Bboy issei was great, he deserved it. Hong 10 is a legend... In his 30's but moves like a 20 year old. He was insane the whole competition !!

BEST BC ONE IN YEARS! Incredible b-boys, amazing battles, good DJ and an awesome crowd! Issei finally broke the second place curse and this championship is more than fair to him, dude killed it the WHOLE YEAR, no one deserved this title more than him! Hong 10 has nothing to be ashamed of, 31 years and moving like he is 20. Hong is the only one to reach 4 BC One finals and now he also has 16 wins in the BC One, that is just legendary level. Thank you guys for this unbelievable final, not many b-boy can do 14 consistent rounds.

Such a close and great battle this was! The atmosphere was great until the very last end. This was one of the best BC One World Finals so far. Damn.. I've watched this many times. Both are my favourite bboy.. issei and Hong10.. I felt inspired everytime I watch them doing a battle.. both are full of sick moves!

This was the best BC One in years. It's damn impressive to see Hong 10, the oldest bboy in the competition still managing to get to the finals and pull off a 2-3. Heck, he could've become the first bboy to win BC one three times. Putting that aside though Issei finally got BC One in the bag. He's been slaying people left and right for years and it's only fair that he finally got that title.

ISSEI only 19, and his attitude is amazing! this year he lost 3 big event final:Silverback Open, freestylesession, Unbreakable...I believe you guys know how bad feeling will have that you so close but take 2nd pleace, as such as bad like hong 10's reaction in redbullbc1 2016 final but issei always congratulate the winner without angry...he just keep improve himself I think he win this battle by his own strength for these whos say that hong 10 win, I have to said I am hong 10 fan too, but issei more clean and powerful in many round you have to accept the result and keep going, and you guys still have many thing have to learn from issei before to judge him

Sad that people are calling out the Japanese judge for voting for a Japanese bboy. Kousuke voted for Hong 10 in his battle vs Taisuke, narrowly winning it for him 3 - 2. If Kousuke was really as biased as some of you are saying he is, Hong 10 wouldn't even be in the finals.

Hong 10 and issei are at different level. Hong 10's move is much cleaner and solid, while Issei's is just smooth and soft without explosive force and pause. Even issei's last set is not a very impressive move from "high-level power move" perspective. Plus, this event was held in Japan, so the audience was more hype with issei. Tl:dr : hong 10 should've taken it in overall perspective.

I think they got it right. Hong 10 was spending a bit too much of his earlier rounds doing fast floor work that came off looking a little repeaty while Issei was going a bit more technical and flashy.
