Everyone in Farhat’s life was selfish, including Asli. The only ones who really loved and understood him were Abidin and Dilisiz. The rest of them all took advantage of his wounded heart and made him out to be a monster. Asli never calmed the savage beast, instead she provoked him. She yelled, lectured, nagged and always destroyed his spirit. How many times did she leave him and then blamed him for the breakup? He never left her and even in this episode she claimed that he left. She still hasn’t told him that Namik is his father. Another betrayal. Of course she will claim it was to protect him, but when he withheld the truth about Vildans daughter to protect her and his unborn child, she broke up with him for lying. Hypocrite. She always played victim, but she was actually the one that tormented him. The only time she caved was when he finally got fed up with her games and told her to get lost. None of these people deserved his love. I agree his performance was outstanding.

Everyone including Farhat was selfish. Thats what makes a great drama. The least selfish person was Asli's character out of the main characters. Farhat was not the only wounded heart here. Remember that Asli was in a relationship before Farhat stole her freedom from her. Farhat had no desire to be nice or gental with her in the beginning. In fact he would have put a bullet in her head if she hadn't told him about her brother and he reconized who Jim (cop) was. Also after he married Asli he visited the other side chick twice. Asli was the calm to his storm most of the time. Was she perfect? No, that would make a boring story. Was Asli a victim? Yes! She was kidnapped, almost murdered, forced to marry, forced to lie to her brother about it, forced to live in that house with his relatives that were toxic, was not allowed to come or go when she pleased, lost friends, lost her job, and her brother. All because of Farhat and what he did that started all of this. Selfish of him? I would say yes. Did she forgive all of that and fell in Love with him? Yap. She deserved better because he treated his brother and friends better than her. He constantly forgive Abidin over and over again without Abidin almost saying nothing. Like "I dont think you mean it so it is OK that you confessed to treason" or "show me your wedding pictures and it all good". Dilisiz didnt talk to anyone but twice Farhat threaten him over talking about getting back together with Asli. Also IMO it is not Asli who is resonsible for Farhats mother and fathers lie. Thats not her betrayal, that theirs. Not even Farhats brother tells him the truth about it. Also IMO, Asli didnt just leave over Farhat secret about Vildans daughter. That was part of it but to stay in a house where he slept with another woman and fathered her child and both are still living in same house? Ya, I think I would leave too. Why didnt Farhat move them both back in his apartment in the city? There were better ways he could have handled it but choose to just keep a secret until after the baby was born. That was selfish. But again if not for all of this drama it would have never been a great story to watch. I was sad that the new writers drove it into the ground and got it scrapped. Everybody did a great job acting. All of the above is JMO.

@@steppingrock Actually, I watched the entire series and that was my opinion. Please tell me what series you were watching? Did Farhat ever break it off with her or give her ultimatums? No! Did she leave him several times and/or give him ultimatums? YES! Did she withhold the truth about his father? Yes? Did she confess that his sister was pregnant by that worthless man? No! Did she ever calm him down? Never! Did she constantly gaslight, withhold the truth and nag him? Always! Did she play victim? Yes. Fermat had a horrible upbringing and was misunderstood. He never received any type of love from anyone except his brother and father. Asli was always playing games and testing his love. She would leave and come back like a dog when he didn’t run after her. She was an annoying woman who needed constant attention. Typical Turkish series. Woman lies, deceives, plays hard to get and expects the man to chase them. Eventually the men forget their morals, integrity and forgive all the lies all in the name of love. 🙄
