I've been invited and never went, if I go now I don't think it's anywhere near what it was years ago. Maybe it wasn't meant for me to go because had I taken a job there I would've got hit by the storm

In 2005 was when Katrina hit & that greatly impacted New Orleans demographics forever. Also In 2005 nyc mayor Bloomberg changed the zoning laws & that’s when NY started loosing lots of black & Puerto Rican hoods to gentrification like Harlem bed-stuy Bushwick & the lower east side.
