The reason I count is for a few reason. Nothing in the video is automatic as everything is done in post production when I'm editing the videos and normally I'm looking at waveforms of both the video file and the audio file since they both are recorded seperately and helps me align things quickly and not get lost. Some people who make reaction videos use programs like OBS or Streamlabs and pause can be must easier than what I do however I'm not really use to programs like that as I find it is hard to balance the audio properly especially when you don't have as much control over it. Although doing everything I do editing wise does take a lot longer than just using a streaming program I find this works better for now however I do eventually want to be able to have it down as well as most twitch streamers as I find the way some people have their layouts to be really cool and more fun from a viewer perspective than edited one like I do. But yeah I do the count down to align everything easier also because if I just click really hard depending on the mic's level it may or may not show up well and usually I'm editing 5-8 videos at a time so it's just a time saver really but sorry if it seems weird lol.
