Stupid. The underground thing just hurts us. Less companies to buy from, and lower quality products, because it costs so much to make things for a small market. Even wheels cost $40 now. Staying underground isn't helping anyone, and it makes it nearly impossible to get kids and new members.... It's ridiculous when I see kids on scooters everyday, but they don't even know that grinding on rollerblades is a real thing.

@@Danielson1818 I agree, I just started back and I struggled to buy a new pair of boot, and when they turned up the original box was missing and they were covered in dust. I'm in the UK and the scene is like deader than dead. I need anti-rockers and there is like one place that sells them (Online) and they are £32 (About $40)

Backslabbath calling rollerblading doesn’t help, that sounds lame. It’s in-line skating.

Even 4 years ago the products I was able to choose from SUCKED, USD Aeons I especially hated, no matter what I did with the liner they still dug into my foot. Such low quality skates, most just a cheap flimsy shell and a cheap liner to go with it. I had to go back to my og Salomon Vinny Minton's from 2006... that said my skating days are done for now. I never was great, but it was an enjoyable thing. I just can't afford to put myself in the hospital for something that people really don't care about anymore. Plus my favorite park and training spot got closed permanantly.

I bladed in the 90’s/early 2000’s because I couldn’t even do a kick flip on a skateboard. Iv got a lot of respect for people who are good at any extreme sport.

Last time i rode the pool in tel aviv skate park i broke my radius bone in the so i can ride only street and slalom because after the i passed the operation the medic told me that if ill break it again they will not be able to fix it

You are grinding on your "weaker" foot. e.g. if you normally do soul on right foot, switch soul will be on your left foot
