頂樓種的薄荷爆盆了，剛好採收來製作今年夏天的薄荷涼涼皂，還想挑戰看看製作液體皂，就把植物精華先萃取到油脂裡面。
植物跟油沒有特定比例，這次摘得有點多就把莖拆掉只留葉子，裝滿一盆葉片再倒入足夠淹過去的油，反正就是盡可能用多一點植物下去萃，小火慢熬去除掉所有水分，最後把葉渣瀝乾淨就完成了。
薄荷精華油的運用很廣，按摩油、止癢膏、清涼膏、乳液、固體皂、液體皂...等，反正萃了一大盆有將近3公斤，應該可以做出蠻多產品啦！

Future use: soap making, massage oil, beard oil, lotion, marinades for cooking, salad dressing... I just try to eyeball amounts but you can look up "oil infusions" with herbs to give an exact measurement.

i used a fragrant oil for my cold process soap but after one month its smell has vanished away, do you have any idea why this happened?🙁

Try to combine top tone or middle tone essential oil with base tone one, the scent will last longer. Also, wrap the soap right after cured will help.

If you use dried plants, cooking will not be necessary, just infuse in oil would be much easier.
