The Pitchblak Brass Band was born from the will of its leader Channell "tubafresh" Crichlow.
Tired of learning exclusively about old white composers at music school, and people saying that Soubassophone is not for girls, she creates a hip hop brassband that would make people groove and pronounces the word "Black" in a positive way !
