This is the B&T APC223 pro (5.56) 10.4” short barrel rifle with Rotex X 5.56 suppressor.

Great video! How do you like the Rotex-X compared to some other supressors? That thing is massive!

I like it. I typically use a Dead Air sandman S and feel the B&T Rotex X 5.56 is on par or better.

This will mount directly on the APC223 pro factory flash hider.

Would you go with this or the RBS? How does the compact X compare to the regular X

Highly recommend the Rotex X. Much much lighter and less bulky.

THats a hood question. Haven’t had a chance to shoot the compact but I’d likely go full length as past experience with compacts tend to be much louder. I personally would go with better suppression and 2” extra length.

What's the difference from the pro and the regular 10.5 pistol?

I suppose they best way to break it down is gen 1A, 1B, gen 2 (nomenclature mag be off). Basically gen 1 had reciprocating charging handle with single price lower (hip was part of the molding). Gen 1B same upper as gen 1A but lower had changeable ar style grip. Gen 2 is the non-reciprocating charging handle.

@Idaho 2A Tactical i2AT Mine is non reciprocating so it's a gen 2. Does that make it a .223 pro

With the B&T Rotex-X mount on a Smith Vortex flash hider?

On a Standard a2 flash hider, stock apc223 flash hider.

@@I2AT if you have a Smith Vortex lying around, could you try it? I know a BFA (blank firing attachment) will mount on the vortex exactly like a NATO A2, so the B&T should mount to it as well.

Are use using a crush washer with the A2? Or shims or Rocsett?

@@FullerDinh it’s the standard flash hider already installed by B&T. Not sure what they use to secure it.

I would say I misspoke. Some could argue that muscle memory using an ar style platform would make this gun a con in addition to the size of the charging handles which could potentially be too small to grab quickly if there is a malfunction. I guess a bit of apples to oranges when it comes to the type of charging handle.
