Serious question, in what way is the coaching next level other than Dima who just joined them and only because of Jozef? I'm not saying Nicky isn't an awesome coach but none of the B Team guys have a system or cohesive style. They are all just exceptional individual athletes who happen to train together. Whereas someone like Tainan and Cole for example are clear products of Gui and Rafa who are certainly exceptional. No animosity here, just genuine curiosity.

Definitely needs to improve a little bit more technically but for somebody with much less years of experience compared to seasoned black belts, he’s doing very well. Hes gonna be unstoppable in the years to come.

Declan Moody's sub was so underrated. Moody systematically got to the back, secured it with double UNDERS 19:47, locked up the body triangle 19:52 then secured the sub with double OVERS 19:55 - Neck crank with the right arm to open up the neck, locked the neck crank in position with the left arm to secure the RNC back with the right arm. High level grappling right there.

Jay Rod complaining about being unable to win in this specific scenario is very dumb. If you are challenging guys above your league like Mica and Tainan expect to lose to those guys. He SHOULD NOT beat himself up about it, hope he moves on and learn from those valuable lessons going against the top of the top

You shouldn't expect to lose against anyone, more so understand its a high possibility.....btw those two names aren't really comparable when it comes to no gi . mica has firmly adapted to no gi and faced tons of no gi experts. got himself adcc silver and wno belt.... tainan himself said pre match jay's a no gi guy and im a gi guy - this is why jay wanted to get a victory over him while he adapts to no gi (meragali and keenan both spoke about this transformation taking time). tainan also knew jays not a true black belt so its also a fair test.,,,,, jay's game doesn't focus where gi is weak like craig jones game does ( beating lo meragali murilo etc) so i get why he lost.

If I dare give my humble opinion on jay’s game. I think he’s a phenomenal grappler that still has so much potential. But I heard him say he wants “adversity” in his wins and he unnecessarily makes hard times for himself. I think the first time he blew up in trials and such people were shocked with his tempo and cardio and were trying to catch up and gassed themselves out. But now I think Jay just does too much unnecessary movements and the opponents on bottom just do the bare minimum to survive until Jay gas himself out! Or slow down. He keeps losing on the last part of the matches. Now I’m no where near jay’s ability but I really think he should get/could get even more pressure in his passes and make his opponents move with him and get them tired again. Cuz people used to look absolutely tired after Jay but now they don’t and they push the gas in the later mins
