Georgous setup! Did you try as well the S5,? I’m considering the same setup but with S5 iso 2 M8. Was wondering the added value of 2 M8, as the 2 X 500W of the S5 seems already a bit overkill

why such an expensive speaker still need subwoofer? so expensive speaker still cannot deliver good base?

Subs are not for adding bass, the purpose is for smoothing up the bass response in a room and for enlarging the soundstage behind the speakers. It also pressurize the room more efficiently so the main speakers can deliver a better performance even in the high frequencies.

Overall I feel it is still too bright, and the sound reminds of Classe. Not very high end sound

The treble is ear fatiguing, that midrange speaker is too big to produce treble
