In this episode we are removing the rear subframe and fuel tank from the car and after that it was time to create an action plan for this project. This is a high level to do list. Next we will continue to remove the underbody coating and get the engine on a engine stand. This way we can start doing an inspection on the engine it self.
BMW E24 - 633CSI from 1978 Project:
I have some big plans for it. The car will be stripped all the way. Engine will be rebuild and improved where possible.
Still thinking about the Turbo setup but need to dig more into that for this engine.
When it comes to the electrical system I'm planning on making it a "modern car";
- Added parking sensors
- Adding reverse camera
- Adding heated and ventialtions seats system
- Adding lumbar supports
- Adding custom speakers system.
- Upgrading the AC system
- Different motor management system.
- Possible digital screen for the instrument cluster etc.
The car will be a project when it's finished I will be enjoy driving it in the weekends and during road trips.
