Themed on the movie The Final Countdown. Three B17s take off in 2023, and travel back in time 80 years to 1943 - to fly in a time when the world was black & white.
Two green B17f FPV models and a silver B17g LOS model. One of the FPV cockpits is fitted with DJI Air Unit, the other with a Mobius 1 analogue. These were shot at the Model Squadron reunion last month, and were among our earlier attempts at flying the B17s in formation. It was easier later when we just flew with FPV, because the circuit was necessarily much tighter with an LOS plane in the flight - & larger circuits made for more time to get in formation.
