This video provides an informational overview of the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, and documents my "full immersion" ride in the navigator's seat in the Commemorative Air Force's B-29 "FIFI" over eastern Missouri wine country. This seat position provides the best and widest variety of video shot opportunities during such a ride, and we take full advantage of this.
We'd like to point out that we stated that the B-29 could carry an ordnance load of 10,000 lbs., which is slightly misleading. While this may have been a typical bomb load at times, the aircraft actually had a maximum bomb load of approximately 20,000 lbs. Sorry about this confusion.
