I had a B3, it was a great gun, no blems and very accurate.. My issue was getting pellets into the breach. It's tight as it is and where my scope had to sit, it made it even tougher. So I donated it to Denny and he gifted it to a veteran. I'm glad he did that.

bore polishing, all I've used is Ultra-Bright toothpaste and 1-2 drops of oil, double patches and about 20 strokes, then clean with alcohol. very mild polishing+cleaning, then FrogLube. good video!

Very easy to make a seal find an old peace of leather or new what ever is available, I have used old belts as long as the leather is the right thickness and width , drill a hole with a spade bite the appropriate size and depth to match your chamber diameter and seal height into a 2 by 4 stud, but any peace of wood could be used, than put a finish nail in the center of the hole you just drilled if you use a spade style it gives you a pilot hole that is perfectly in the center, leave the nail proud of the surface of the wood, stick the leather in water to soak poke a hole in the center of the leather and set it over the finish nail this keeps it in place and give you a centered hole for installation , use a socket that will make a snug fit with the leather and walls of the hole push the leather into the hole with a clamp on the socket and let dry, when dry trim leather flush with the 2 by 4 face, while still in clamp, you have the surface of the socket to cut against with a utility blade, install on piston with center peace and screw on the piston and oil the leather, I prefer to install and add the oil to the chamber and let it soak inside the chamber and swell. I forgot to mention earlier make sure the leather is wet complete though before putting in the hole and clamping. I have made them they look perfect and work perfect, also make sure to put the ruff side of the leather out not the smooth side I know you would think the smooth finished leather would be better but it isn't . It was harder for me to type this than it is to make one, hope that helps somebody with a leather seal they haven't been able to replace.

The factory replacement breech and piston seals are for sale on ebay .The piston seals comes with the new style back ring with the new style piston seal All Factory replacements ..The Leather seals will be fading out and obsolete

I checked to see if I had the bell ringed and I did. Don't know what KZfaq is doing? I noticed that I don't see as many videos that I want to see on air rifles and hunting anymore. I also notice that a lots of videos that I do not care about are showing up.

Usually the shavings you see in those is from the shitty blobby welds they put in those from the plug rubbing and scraping it away.

That is a much newer one than mine as mine has a place pvc compression plug with a rod through it lol. I just based everything with automotive bearing grease lol

Nice shooting. If you get the moderator. I recommend getting the upgraded stainless steel pivot pin. For the pump handle. You have to remove it anyway. So you m8ght as well put a good one back in.

I use the same kit for my air rifles. You think it would be best to but a few drops of Hoppe's oil in the barrels of my Daisy 880 and my 901, then run dry patches through, or as I have been doing, placing a few drops on the first patch, then running dry patches through? Seems I'd get nice lube putting the drops in the barrel as you did.
