B6 VW Passat Headlight Removal

According to a comment, it's not possible to take.the headlight off without removing the bumper if you have headlight washers.

Yo, after watch your guide i can tell you its impossible if you have headlamp washer xd.

Apparently you can. I've just asked on the R36 forum and there's a guy there said he's done it. I'm trying mine tomorrow.

I am going to attempt this tomorrow at 0F. Will the plastic break? Would a swivel head ratchet wrench help?

You will be ok with the plastic. Your hend will definitely freeze 🥶. Swivel head ratchet is not needed , its not on angle, it's just a bit tight. It was a lot easier to put them in. Pay attention how I take the headlights out, they go the same way in.

I did attempt this today but i couldnt find the screws from below. I searched for it like 30min but i cant see or feel screws The screws where you put the 10mm in and go in the foglight hole and go above to the headlights

Tough to find. If you struggle over 10min wll suggest to remove the bumper.

This one goes the same direction like the other 10mm screw! Not up- or downwards.

Im trying this here and its not possible to reach that bolt it faces towards me so you cant get it out

There is enough space to unsrew it and take it out. The plastic "bar" some 5cm ahead of the screw is not massive, there is a big hole in it, so you can go through it with a 10mm-nut and extension (and an accu drill driver)

You can reach the bottom screw even with a small accu-drill. With some 60mm long nut or nut with spacer. That´s even easier than in the video. But set the driver on "full power"! It takes some time to place it correctly, and it is very nasty, if the accu-drill´s clutch slips (I know, what I´m talking about :-P )

To wygląda, jak porażka w wyciąganiu zderzaka, lepiej odkręcić dwie dziesiątki ze zderzaka i go uchylić z boku a nie grzebać jak ginekolog.

I'm not sure what i've done wrong; but I removed all screws and the thing doesn't move an inch 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

Not all screws probably 😲 . There are four of them. The two hidden ones are pretty long, some 45mm, I guess. Then pull the inner side of the light towards you, - might be a little rough. This ist not to be seen in the video.
